Built from Bedrock
Blackrock Dynamics was founded in May 2026 on a simple conviction: access to space should be reliable, repeatable, and affordable. We are a small, focused team of engineers moving fast toward our first flight.
Rather than spending a decade developing hardware from scratch, we acquired the flight-ready Phoebe launch vehicle from Saturn Aerospace. That puts us on track to reach orbit within months of our founding, not years.

Phoebe
Acquired from Saturn Aerospace in June 2026, Phoebe is a flight-proven orbital launch vehicle and the first member of our fleet. Testing is underway, with launch targeted for July 2026.
